s recently went to this really amazing spa and I’m so excited to share this to all of my readers (because there’s something amazing for you guys).

the place is called Achilles Spa and so far, this is the nicest and cleanest spa i have been to. it is owned by mr. kenneth who is very hospitable and accommodating in which he passed on to all of his staff. Achilles Spa was inspired by kenneth’s humble beginnings; he started out as a masseur several years ago and after saving up money he put up his very own.

Achilles Spa is located in a commercial area in manila, very easy to find. upon entering, you’ll find relaxing interiors and a cool ambiance. they charge Php400 for a private room, Php500 for those who want service outside and there are 3 VIP rooms (1 on the ground floor and 2 upstairs). they also have a small discreet showroom for you to choose a guy of your own choice (they have 9 handsome masseurs) and the minimum charge for an extra service is Php1,000 which is very very reasonable. they also have a free wifi for you to browse the internet while having a massage and they offer free drinks to all the customers! isn’t that awesome?

kenneth along with his staff are very friendly,  you can talk to them and they’ll be happy to give you whatever you need for a more comfortable stay. and kenneth told me that they are very much willing to give discounts to all of my avid readers (just send me a message if ever you need acknowledgement).

Achilles Spa is located at 47, Lake Street corner Aurora Blvd., near sm sta.mesa and UERM Hospital (near Aling Banang’s restaurant). You can take the LRT Line 2 for easier transport.

new but a little disappointing Adonis Gay Bar

 if you are from the philippines you are sure familiar with the Adonis Gay Bar which is located before near GMA network station. well they have a new place which i visited recently this week.

 i arrived around 1am and upon arriving there was a guy stripping on stage. on regular days their entrance fee is Php300 including 2 bottles of beer but on special weekends and other big nights it is Php400 with the same 2 free drinks. well i sat down, looked around and had the opportunity to talk to the manager, vanessa. she gave me a lot of insights about the new place.

 but i was a bit disappointed because they are now much more expensive. a bottle of beer costs Php100, food and other appetizers are very pricey than the other bars and if you want a guy to accompanye you, it’s Php780 which includes (2) drinks only. they even charge 20% for the tax on your bill! They have 20 – 25 guys (take note, who looked really mature, around 30-35 years old) the night i visited and during shows, they present all their dancers on stage. impersonator drag queens are also present to entertain you with their own productions.

all in all, i think it’s good that they had a new place but with their rates plus tax i  think it’s not really worth it.

 i recently went to this new spa located near banawe, quezon city. it’s actually pretty far from where i live but i still went in order to give you a review in case you’ve heard about this place or looking for a new spa. i left for Uranus Spa around 2 in the morning and if you have a car or is taking a taxi the best way to take is osmena highway and magtahan bridge then espana to quezon ave. and you’ll find yourself along banawe street, it is beside mighty mart along ns amoranto formerly retiro. this Uranus Spa was actually the Magic Spa before under a different management and i’ve been coming to this place even before. upon reaching the place, i saw that the gate was locked thinking that it was already closed unlike before (under the old management) even past midnight you’ll find guys hanging out in front of the establishment. it is located in a residential area in an apartment building. after calling out from the gate, a guy came out and welcomed me in. he told me that they are open its just that they regularly close the gate which I think is very inconvenient for customers like me.

they have private rooms for Php400 and if you want dl it outside they will charge you for Php500 and if you want a guy for extra service, they charge Php1,500 which is quite expensive compared to the old management. after asking, i requested if  ican go and look at their rooms for me to take pictures to put in my blog but they did not allow me. to tell you the truth, the new place with its interiors and rooms and even service do not pass my standard. i think they are not worth their expensive rates. they have around 20 guys and only a handful of good-looking ones, the rest are average. recently i went to one of the newest Hosto Bar in Metro Manila. it was called Male Box which i think is very modern and fun-sounding.

you have to take note that they have so many handsome men actually. there are those who are korean-look-alikes and mostly twinks if you are into this kind of guys. if you want a variety of choices, i’d really recommend you this place. 

  they have a regular entrance fee of Php100 but it’s Php200 per table every Tueday, Friday and Sunday because they have bands performing wherein they stage boys of six bands, they are really hot, i tell you.
